The Bloomsday on-course entertainment is a highlight of the annual Lilac Bloomsday Run, adding a vibrant and eclectic dimension to the 7.46-mile journey. With approximately 30 diverse individuals and groups gracing the route each year, participants are treated to a dynamic blend of musical genres and performance styles. From the pulsating beats of rock bands to the elegant melodies of classical singers, and the rhythmic movements of belly dancers to the harmonious tunes of accordion players and choirs, the entertainment caters to a wide range of tastes. The post-race celebration allows Bloomsday entrants to actively engage by voting for their favorite performers, creating an interactive and participatory atmosphere.

The most popular entertainers are rewarded with cash prizes of $500, $300, and $150, adding an extra layer of excitement to this celebrated community event.
