The Jr. Bloomsday Race is an annual youth running event. Designed to promote health and community, this inclusive race caters to participants in 3rd-7th grade. Offering a fun entertaining course and awesome prize pack; our goal with Jr. Bloomsday is to foster a love for fitness, teamwork, and perseverance among children and teenagers, creating a memorable and enriching experience and a sense of accomplishment for participants and their families.

Race Day:	Sunday, April 14, 2024
Location:	Spokane Falls Community College. Start and Finish at the SFCC track complex. Parking is free!
Time:	Show and GO style. Show up at the time that works best for your family between 9am and 10:30am. Your children will be placed in the next available wave.
Cost:	$20.00
Chip Timing:	Each participant of Jr. Bloomsday will be chip timed and will receive an official finish time.
Race Number Pick-Up:	Saturday, April 13 at Spokane Falls Community College (Student Athletic Center Gymnasium) – 9AM to 6PM (times subject to change please follow us on social media/subscribe to our e-mail for the most up to date information.)
Kids who can participate:	All kids in 3rd through 7th grade

When is Jr. Bloomsday and how do I register my kids?

Yes. Jr. Bloomsday will be run on Sunday April 14, 2024 at Spokane Falls Community College. Registration opens in early February and more details are available on the Junior Bloomsday page.

When is packet pickup for Jr. Bloomsday?

Parents will pick-up their child's Jr. Bloomsday materials on Saturday, April 13 from 9AM to 6PM at Spokane Falls Community College. The location of packet pick-up is the gymnasium in the Student Athletic Center building near the college track (3410 W. Whistalks Way, Spokane, WA)

How do I find my child at the end of the race?

Skyhawks Reunion Zone: This is where your child/ren will receive their finisher shirt, Gatorade and prize pack lanyard. You will be allowed into the reunion zone by showing your wristband and allowed to exit by showing matching the child's bib number to the number on your wristband. Only adults with the wristband that matches the child/rens bib will be allowed to exit the reunion zone. No exceptions.

When does the race start?

Our start is a SHOW AND GO format. You can show up at the time that works best for your family between 9am and 10:30am. Your child will be checked in and then they are released onto the course at the next available wave.
