Spokane, WA—Bloomsday runners, joggers, and walkers are being urged to take the bus when they head downtown to pick up their race packets this weekend, then to stop by the STA booth at Bloomsday Check-In to enter a drawing for some great prizes, including:
- $500 gift certificate for use at any Sports Authority store
- Party for 10 at David’s Pizza
- Night at the DoubleTree Hotel, including breakfast for two
- Framed Bloomsday 2009 poster
- Eco-friendly Bloomsday 2009 long-sleeve tech shirt
The packet pickup promotion is a new feature at Bloomsday this year, part of Bloomsday’s “Getting Greener” initiative. STA will also run their shuttle service to and from downtown from four satellite lots on Bloomsday morning, as they have in past years. Those who haven’t already signed up for Bloomsday are encouraged to hop aboard an STA bus to downtown Spokane and sign up at the Spokane Convention Center. Late registration is available during normal Check-In hours on Friday and Saturday. There is no registration available on Sunday morning.
