Jasper Place Rebels top School Challenge standings

May 7, 2010

Spokane, WA—The Jasper Place Rebels of Jasper Place High School in Edmonton, Alberta, were the fastest overall team in the first annual Bloomsday School Challenge, with a total time of 151 minutes, 3 seconds. Team members will each receive an iPod shuffle from Stong Solutions, who together with Jones Soda sponsored the competition.

 

The Rebels won the High School All Male division, while The Four Ameadgos of Mead High School captured the High School All Female Division, and the West Valley Eagles of West Valley High School won the High School Co-ed division. Among the Junior High teams, KBAD of Salk Middle School won the All Male division, a team from Lakeside Middle Schoolcaptured the All Female diivision, and The Fast and the Furious from St. Aloysius Gonzaga won the Co-Ed division. All team members of all winning teams will receive iPods shuffles from Strong Solutions.

 

Twenty-four teams competed in the 2010 Bloomsday School Challenge. Team standings were based on the combined time of each team’s three fastest members, with at least one of each gender counting in co-ed divisions. A list of all team scores is at www.bloomsdayrun.org/results/school-challenge.
