Bloomsday: Spokane’s iconic annual 12K race, organized by the Lilac Bloomsday Association, attracts thousands each May. Since 1977, it’s been a beloved tradition fostering health, fitness, and community spirit. The challenging course winds through scenic streets, showcasing landmarks and providing a unique experience for runners of all levels. Beyond a sporting event, Bloomsday is a celebration of camaraderie, athleticism, and the enduring spirit of the Lilac City.

The Bloomsday Race is an iconic annual running event held in Spokane, Washington. Organized by the Lilac Bloomsday Association, this renowned road race draws thousands of participants each year. Taking place in May, the race covers a challenging 12-kilometer course through the scenic streets of Spokane, featuring both elite runners and recreational participants.
Corporate Cup
The Bloomsday Corporate Cup presented by Northwest Orthopedic Specialist is a one-of-a-kind team building, opponent-taunting, fitness flaunting field day that pits company vs. company in the ultimate competition to claim the cup!
Register your team (of 3-5 employees), start the smack talk early, show up fit, ready to run, and celebrate your accomplishments at the after party!
Junior Bloomsday
The Jr. Bloomsday Race is an annual youth running event. Designed to promote health and community, this inclusive race caters to participants in 3rd-7th grade. Offering fan entertaining course and awesome prize pack; our goal with Jr. Bloomsday is to foster a love for fitness, teamwork, and perseverance among children and teenagers, creating a memorable and enriching experience and a sense of accomplishment for participants and their families.
Marmot March
Marmot March: A family-friendly 1-mile walk/run for children (third grade or younger) at Riverfront Park, Spokane, WA. Join the fun with parents, grandparents, and guardians, finishing together. Kids can color shirts with provided markers, creating a cherished tradition.

Each year the Lilac Bloomsday Association (LBA) selects an official charity or non-profit partner for the upcoming Lilac Bloomsday Run.
Through the selection the charity receives much needed revenue as well as exposure in the community. The charity receives money donated by Bloomsday participants when they sign up for the run, and most charities also raise funds by selling a product (bracelet, singlet, T-shirt, etc.) before, during and/or after race weekend. The charity also receives a free booth at the Bloomsday Trade Show to use as they like. These cooperative ventures give Bloomsday something additional to share with the media while increasing the amount of funds raised for the charity…
